Imagine black, poisonous gas billowing out of your tail pipe as you cruise down the street. You know its lethal but decide you don't care. You pass two neighbors out for a walk and, seconds later, they collapse on the sidewalk like a couple sacks of potatoes -- taken out by the car's toxic spray. Don't you think your other, still-living neighbors would immediately call the police on you & have ya hauled off to jail? What if it wasn't you driving the car, but your neighbor & he took out your kid -- wouldn't you call 911 then?

If climate-changing gases were visible, their damage immediate and local, no one would question what we should do. But climate-changing gases are invisible. And the gases emitted in one place can cause damage thousands of miles away, even years later. We have to rely on science to understand that coal, oil & gas are killing us.
Some people have heard the scientists & others haven't. Now the problem is bigger than ever. Global warming is here, already killing Americans -- plus destroying homes, businesses & communities around the country. Let's not let coal, oil & gas win while the rest of us lose.
